This document, very long and precise in its drafting, teaches us that the initial concession
has been signed on July 11, 1925 between the company and the town hall,
Jean TOURY being already at the time mayor.
A law of July 16, 1936 authorized the municipalities to revise the contrats of
concession in order to improve the tariffs of the time.

It is thus from 1925 that electricity started to be proposed to the inhabitants
of the commune; let us point out the characteristic of the village of Theix which profited from this
favour 5 years before the others, thanks to the construction of the electry factory by
prisoners of war of 14-18 for the benefit of the lord of the time who had
liberally granted to each one of its employees the right to use one bulb in their home.

Fresh water as for it, started to arive to Champanellois only afterwards
1960, that being due certainly, with water the abundant resource of the commune.
