European twinning
Saint-Genès-Champanelle is twinned with the city of Kallmünz,
small city of Bavaria close to Regensburg, since June 23, 1984Twinning and laces
In 1985, the lacemakers champanelloises carried out blazons in the honnor of twinning with Kallmünz starting from the blazon imagined by André SIRAMY.
Those blazons needed several hundredes working hours to ten lacemakers champanelloises. They were presented in cover of the municipal bulletin #22 of May 1985.Here is the photography of these masterpieces which pleasantly communicated us and authorized to reproduce Mrs Martine VIGIER. They can be admired at the town hall of Kallmünz.
Twinning with the Italian city
of Monterosso al Mare (October 25, 2003)
The Italian post office produced a one day old flame for the twinning of Saint-Genès-Champanelle and the town of Monterosso Al Mare. Increased here twice.
