All the villages of the commune have a furnace, except for Saint-Genès Borough (which have never had of it) and of Thèdes whose furnace in too bad condition, was demolished, has us one says, by decision of the municipality during decade 70. It was at the east end of the street of the ROCKS. An inhabitant expressed us regrets as for the disappearance of this furnace bus altough in bad condition, it was of a very pretty architecture, rather round form.
