decipher on the left of the sign : "ONDET", the name
of the owners in 1849.
The woman is perhaps the girl of landlords ONDET.

"En ces temps,
l'auberge, qui existe toujours, était dite "des bois"
et était tenue par le nommé Ondet Antoine,
dit le "parisien", âgé de 45 ans, marié à
Marguerite Bougnol, qui en avait quarante-quatre,
ils avaient avec eux leur fille, alors âgée de 16 ans."
"In these times,
the inn, which always exists, was known as "of the woods"
and was held by named Ondet Antoine,
known as "le parisien", 45 years old, married to
Marguerite Bougnol, who was forty-four old,
they had with them their daughter, then 16 years old."
