Business of the churches of Theix and Manson

At the beginning of the 19th century, a conflict appeared between the mayor and certain inhabitants
about the creation of two churches or vaults in Theix and Manson which
did not have. Recalcitrant inhabitants alleging that they were still paying
for a subscription for the erection of the church of the borough of Saint-Genès-Champanelle and
they did not want moreover to take part in a news judging that the commune
was sufficiently provided in place with worship. Followed epistolary exchanges from there
between the prefecture and the ministry for the worship of the time of which some ones were
saved lapse of memory and found at the departmental records by Mrs. GELY.
