sources
in the territory of Saint-Genès-Champanelle.
These are Auzon in the south, Artière in its center, the
source
leaves from Chatrat and which has 2 tributaries: the stream of
Préguille
which has its source south of Thedes and
the Beaupriant stream which is born in Manson
and goes down between the puy de Charade and Champeaux,
and Tiretaine to the north.

There was a pond near the castle of the village

Saint-Genès-Champanelle
but its dike having broken in 1928,
it was never
repaired.

Ponds of the Château de Theix
At Theix, Auzon, in the 18th century, had 3
ponds
belonging to the castle and 2 mills on the Auzon.
Theix Castle still has 2 ponds,
the 3rd
formerly called the big pond
belongs to the castle farm bought
by the Institute
National Agricultural Research.
Two private ponds exist,
one at the entrance to Berzet
A final pond is also located north
of the village
of Chatrat and
